The atmosphere at New City is intentionally designed to help you feel comfortable and welcome. We have childcare overseen by church members who have undergone thorough background checks. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by friendly people who can answer questions, point you toward the worship center, and direct children to the proper areas.
Services last about 65 minutes, and include singing together, prayer, and a message designed to teach, challenge, and encourage you in your walk with Jesus. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper every other week with gluten-free bread, and we have an open table policy: anyone who follows Jesus is welcome to participate.
Music
We sing together for the adoration and praise of God, who created and sustains us, and who redeems through the work of Jesus Christ. We sing contemporary worship music.
Sermons
The teaching is designed to help you further understand the ways of Jesus and apply the gospel to all areas of your life. It lasts about 30-35 minutes.
Hospitality
If you’re not a follower of Jesus, or if you haven’t stepped into a church in a long time, we want you to have a fresh encounter with our Savior. If you are a follower of Jesus, we welcome you to worship with us and grow in His wisdom. And if you worry about coming to New City uncaffeinated, fear not! We serve complimentary coffee and donuts.
Friendship
Our church family is made up of people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, and we are united in our devotion to Jesus and the desire to see His message of healing and redemption spread throughout St. Charles and to the ends of the earth.
